Universal Responsibility

~~~~~
“The problems we face today, violent conflicts, destruction of nature, poverty, hunger and so on, are human-created problems which can be resolved through human effort, understanding and the development of a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. We need to cultivate a universal responsibility for one another and the planet we share.”
  1. Bruce, we have received a 3 week stay at home request from our governor. There is no place to go. Stores encourage only 1 person per family in. We closed the gate of the property and are taking hikes on our property and the forest land. We were out earlier this week and it is eerie. People doing normal shopping seem to need justifying buying toilet paper or baking staples like sugar or flour. People are treating healthy people as potential plague carriers. Our humanity is being defined right now and I pray it doesn’t get worse.
    • Stay strong and focused on the positive things that you and Krista are all about Mark. Our gate is closed too and Francis and I are now on day 10 at home. I am noticing that these little dangerous microbes are bringing out both the best of our humanity, and unfortunately for some the worst. I am right now working on posting a wonderful and positive story from a fellow from India that emailed my good friend Jack this morning. I thought it is important to do a good news story to help lift peoples spirits and to know we are not alone, Maybe check for my post this later this evening. We will get through this together with empathy and caring. There is a lot of goodness in the world.
