Broad vision and stillness – HEAR, AT THE LAKE
“It takes a broad vision to know that a piece of the sky and a chunk of the earth lie lodged in the heart of every human being…”

The Lake
“…If we are going to care for that heart we will have to know the sky and the earth as well as human behaviour.”

You move me every time, Bruce. Somewhere in my lifetime I want to see this beautiful part of the world from which you draw such inspiration. And we do share an appreciation for Thomas Moore–among many others. 🙂
Well, if you ever somewhere you do travel North Debra, I’d love to touch base with you. Quite sure Francis would too. One lovely couple came all the way from near Philadelphia for a week trip to Vancouver Island, and they loved the lake. Thanks for sharing so many important values Debra.
Thank you, too, Bruce. I would love to meet you and Francis, and it might happen some time. I am sincere in hoping so! 🙂
That lake is gorgeous!
Yes… at times it’s hard to leave, except when a storm is brewing. Well – then we just hunker down.
Stunningly beautiful, Bruce. ❤
I was lucky to have found this location Carol and have been here most of the past 41 years. Feel quite grounded.
