JOY & POSSIBLE ANTIDOTES TO DESPAIR: A Walk in the woods – or pause, sit down and do nothing.

A medicine for the heart, mind, body and soul.

Take a few spoonful’s, while either walking or sitting . . .

Breathe in . . .

Breathe out . . .

Breathe in . . .

Breathe out . . .

Breathe in . . .

Breathe out . . . release

the smile

Breathe in . . .

the present moment

Breathe out . . .

it’s a wonderful moment

We know ourselves to be made from this earth. We know this earth is made from our bodies. For we see ourselves. And we are nature. We are nature seeing nature. We are nature with a concept of nature. Nature weeping. Nature speaking of nature to nature.

I like to walk alone on country paths, rice plants and wild grasses on both sides, putting each foot down on the earth in mindfulness, knowing that I walk on the wondrous earth. In such moments, existence is a miraculous and mysterious reality. People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk on either water or in thin air, but to walk on earth.

    • Thank you for visiting and enjoying this meditative post.

We are having unseasonably warm temperatures here on the pacific coast of BC @ 9 degrees C. or about 48 degrees F & only one brief snowfall.

I do enjoy the green. But I also worry about the changing weather patterns, though I am glad to be able to share my thoughts and concerns with others.
