A deeper layer, like the rose!
“If you want to smell the aroma of Christianity, you must copy the rose.”
“The rose irresistibly draws people to itself . . .”
“. . . and the scent remains with them.”
“Even so the aroma of Christianity is even subtler than the rose and should, therefore, be imparted even in a quieter and more imperceptible manner, if possible.”
Mahatma Gandhi

I love roses, and who does not, but in Mr Ghandi you are referring to one of my great heroes, who shows there is more to life than 3D television
The last part of your comment made me laugh out loud and I’m still smiling. Yes indeed, for Gandhi and roses too. Thanks Peter.
Jesus’ teachings are a beautiful flower, especially when cultivated in soil rich in compassion and understanding. Thanks for this beauty, Bruce.
In the past, I especially apreciated the parables. In the present age, I feel so much of Jesus’ message is either lost, mis-undersoood, or worse, mis-represented.
I’m with you David, in working to cultivate soil rich in compassion and understanding. Amen.
Beautiful roses! And I love the quote; it’s so true.
I’m a big fan of roses, can’t get enough of them. Great shot 🙂
I’m with you on the roses! And I love Gandhi too.
